Hawai‘i Community Foundation is a long-time and well-loved client at Wall-to-Wall studios. Every Thanksgiving, HCF sends cards to their donors and members to say "Thanks for giving", recognizing that they are able to carry on their work only because of the generosity of their benefactors. For this edition, I wanted to extend this beautiful tradition of thanks and giving. So friends of HCF received a brightly illustrated accordion-fold card that was perforated into individual cards that they could tear and give away. Needless to say, the lifespan of these cards extended to more than just Thanksgiving weekend. I was the designer assigned to the project and all concept, illustration, design and copy are mine.

The cover featured an illustrated taro plant with its heart shaped leaves, sacred to Hawai‘i and deeply symbolic of Hawaiian culture that is rooted in sharing and giving back.
